The NSF Nanoscale Science and Engineering (NSE) conference serves to address the most current issues in nanotechnology R&D. The three-day conference includes presentations of ongoing research activities from NSE grantee projects, as well as roundtable discussions that benefit the greater research community. This interdisciplinary meeting provides a timely opportunity for facilitation of partnerships, dissemination of results in nanotechnology research, education, and societal studies, and identification future research directions and needs. These interactions help to advance the goals of the National Nanotechnology Initiative through a broad scope of activities focused on beneficial impact to the public.
